Badly Burned
On June 19, 2010 I was seriously burned by a debris fire that went terribly wrong. I had 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree burns over approximately 40 percent of my body. I was burned on my face, neck, both hands and arms and both legs from the thigh down to the ankles. I am writing this letter because had it not been for my doctor, I would be horribly scarred today. But, I am not. I have no scars. All that is left of this horrible incident is a few pink places on my left forearm and some painful memories. My doctor treated me at home for one month. Amazingly, he treated me with nothing but Emu Oil and a whole lot of tender loving care. Because of his treatment I look as if nothing ever happened.
